A new host! Black Daisystan did a fine job of hosting the first two contests, but now it's Moofistan's turn as a reward for winning the 2nd escChat.com Song Contest thanks to Anastacia singing Left Outside Alone. And a different logo too - designed in Davis Island - which looks like it came fresh from the archives of the Eurovision Song Contest in 1985! It had everything that a real Eurovision Song Contest would have, minus the excessive campness (until Jacuvia debuted in Edition 7)! What a Mooftastic show!
This edition was the first time that the previous edition's winner hosted the next one - a trend that has been mostly followed ever since. It had 19 participants and was the shortest contest in the history of escChat.com - it lasted a mere 5 days from start to finish!
